Wimbledon, here we come!
I am so sad that I did not make it through on the Wimbledon ballot process. IT was exciting to go through all of the detailed procedures, and when I was not notified, it was disappointing. I guess I am going to have to bite the bullet and purchase tickets, probably next year or the following year. A part of me wonders if the experience will be as great as the TV coverage. After being spoiled for so many years with the Tennis Channel and ESPN, watching on person could be a letdown. But I know that being there and meeting people who also enjoy tennis will be worth the trouble and expense.
There are many wondering who will capture the grass title. I will be looking to enjoy the efforts of all the players as tennis is such an awesome sport to watch and to play at any age.
Day One of the French Open
Viva la Tennis! It’s finally here, the French Open. While Hawaii is 12 hours behind France, I think goodness every day for my DVR and Tennis Channel so I catch all the action. I was able to watch Venus and Radwanska before resorting to the recorded play.
The cold weather in Paris has to make to tough for all players, I hope it warms at Roland Garros soon.
